The Getting Published Event

Regent's College, Regent's Park, London
Saturday 2nd March 2013

We are hosting this day to tell you exactly what to do after writing your manuscript. We're bringing together leading agents, publishers and book doctors to give you a short, expert and truthful introduction to everything that you need to know - including whether your book passes muster.

And of course if we find a manuscript that is strong enough to be presented to agents, then we'll do that too - free of charge.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Meet the agents

We've got a fabulous line up of agents to give you the truth about the market as they see it today. You'll be hearing direct from Oliver Munson, of Blake Friedmann, Sam Copeland, of Rogers Coleridge & White, Sallyanne Sweeney, of Watson, Little, and Jodie Marsh, of United Agents

Featuring Slushpile Live  For more info on the Programme and Slushpile Live, click here.

Venue, Bookings, Dates

The event will be held in Regent's College, on Saturday 2nd March, 2013. Regent's College London campus is located in Regent's Park, close to Baker Street Underground station.

The Book Doctor will see you now

Everyone coming to the event is invited to submit their work to us in advance. We will arrange for one of our book doctors to review your work and spend 15 minutes with you 1-to-1, telling you whether your work is ready to send out - and if not how to fix it. You'll get robust written feedback to take away with you as well.

Our Philosophy

Like everything we do at the Writers' Workshop, this event is run by writers for writers. We want to help you make your work wonderful - then help you through to publication. We've had plenty of clients become bestselling authors before now and we'd love to help you join their number.

Having fun

Finally, we believe that writing and everything associated it should be a pleasure. We'll do all we can to keep the event fun and upbeat. If our Festival of Writing was anything to go by, this event will be useful - but also fun and a fabulous place to meet people and make friends. We very much hope so, and look forward to welcoming you there.
