!! PAGE STILL IN COURSE OF CONSTRUCTION !!
1. Courses & the like
Arvon: The best residential writing courses anywhere. And we don't only say that because half our editors are Arvonners too - we say that because both we and Arvon choose only the best.
Open University: Excellent distance learning courses (for distance learning courses, that is). Just search their site for creative writing.
London School of Journalism: Also excellent. Not just for journalists either.
University of East Anglia: Probably the most highly regarded creative writing courses in the country - certainly the courses with the most kudos.
2. Author websites
Mostly our editors, but some wildcard entries too. With our own editors, we've linked to personal websites, where they exist; otherwise just the most useful other material.
John Alberich
Debi Alper
Kate Allan
David Armstrong - do look out for his How Not to Publish a Novel; a useful corrective to the normal hype.
Tim Binding
Richard Blandford
Keith Brooke / Infinityplus - the best scifi / fantasy / horror site anywhere.
Karen Connelly - plus she's got her own Wikipedia page; grand eh?
Emma Darwin
Helena Drysdale
Ed Fenton / Day Books - Day Books is Ed's wonderful small publishing company which specialises in publishing diaries, collections of letters and the like. Small but mighty.
